Aylos Interactive is a private owned company located in Athens, Greece. Aylos Interactive does not claim to be a leader in the IT or some other industry. It is my personal attempt to offer mainly two things: 

• Information technology products and services that solve simple or complex business needs
• Knowledge and experience to the developers community or people just interesting in several subjects

By working as an IT professional since 1989, I have accumulated long experience in different IT positions. In 2006 I decided to move to a new model of work; the model of the independent consultant. Internationally this working model seems to be in prosperity but this is not the case for Greek market; the model is not widely spread in Greece and sometimes even misunderstood by the people of the domestic market.

I believe that this working model offers several advantages for the business environment. An independent consultant usually is a step or more beyond the inside knowledge of a company. This happens because he is focused to specific areas of knowledge and experience.

You call a consultant when there is a need for it; you don’t have to burden the payroll of your company by paying for a full time employee. You can make a contract with a consultant for sort, medium or long periods of time, depending on the internal needs of your company.

Independent consultants are very productive due to the nature of their job. Why is that?

• Because they are not living every day routine like full time employees usually do
• In most cases they have enough knowledge and experience to do the job
• They do not face personal conflicts and intrigues with other colleagues in the same working area
• They care about the project because succesful projects are increasing there reputation

Independent consultants are like the bees that fly from flower to flower and carry the pollen; a very important process to the nature live cycle. The same way consultants carry knowledge, experience and fresh ideas from business to business; a very important process to the contemporary business life cycle.

Personally I believe that as the domestic services sector is growning up companies will use more and more the working model of independent consultants and serious professionals that work now as employees will make the step to cover the demand.

A few words for the name of Aylos Interactive: Aylos is a Greek word «άϋλος» and means intangible. I decided to use this name for two reasons. First I liked the sound of it and second because it describes in an effective way the concept of the independent consultant. An independent consultant has no office; works outside to its customers or partners offices. Interactive means that you talk to a professional that understands business and talks your language.
